How much weight can the SWING cat hammock hold?

Our SWING hammock is a real weight miracle. It can easily hold up to 15 kg—even two cats at the same time if they like to cuddle. The sturdy steel construction ensures a secure hold, even during boisterous play or shared relaxation.

Can two cats lie on the hammock?

Yes, absolutely! The SWING hammock is designed to hold two cats at the same time. As long as the total weight remains under 15 kg, your two furry friends can comfortably swing or sleep together.

Will my wall even be able to support the hammock?

A valid and important question! The load-bearing capacity depends primarily on the condition of your wall. The SWING holds securely and firmly on concrete or solid stone walls. We include high-quality standard dowels and screws with every order so that you can get started right away. For older buildings or plasterboard walls, you should consult your local hardware store to find out which dowels are best suited.

Where should the hammock be mounted?

The perfect position depends a little on your cat's agility and age. 40–70 cm above the floor or other products such as the STEPS cat staircase is a good guideline. This allows your cat to jump in and out comfortably.

What material is the hammock made of?

Our felt pad is made from 100% high-quality wool felt, is mulesing-free, and is therefore a genuine natural product. The felt has a heat-regulating effect—warm in winter and cool in summer—and offers your cat maximum comfort all year round.

Diese Hängematte ist großartig, unsere Katzen lieben das Chillen in der Höhe. Für unsere Stahlbetonwände brauchten wir allerdings spezielle Dübel und Schrauben, das gilt auch für die Steps Katzentreppe und Katzenstufe. Alles sehr hochwertig und sehr stabil und beliebt, bis auf die mitgelieferten Dübel und Schrauben. Es kommt natürlich auch auf die Wände und Schwere der Katzen an. Ansonsten Mega!
